Meet the Governors

Mrs Judith Dovey (Chair of Governors)

I recently retired from a neighbouring school as deputy head and have worked in the local area for over 30 years.

I am delighted to be the current Chair of Governors at Warren Farm. I believe this is an opportunity to give something back to the community and particularly to support the vital process of primary education for young people.

My interests include lots of walking, reading, and singing as well as travelling and exploring new places now I have more free time.

Jenny Gouldingay (Parent / Chair of Finance)

I'm Jenny Gouldingay and I'm a Parent Governor here at Warren Farm, a position I have held since December 2022. I currently hold a Finance Manager role within the NHS and I'm a qualified accountant, bringing that financial experience to the Governor role.  I have one son currently attending the school in Year 5 and a daughter that left Year 6 in July 2024. I also attended the school myself as a child and still live in the local area. I became interested in the role after attending parent workshops which highlighted a fall in academic outcomes over a number of years. I'm therefore committed to supporting the school leadership team to ensure all of the children here at Warren Farm have the opportunity to thrive both socially and academically. In my spare time, as well as spending time with family and friends, I enjoy playing netball in a local fun league.

Ms Danielle Nunan (Staff)

I'm Miss Nunan, the Staff Governor. I'm in my sixth year working at Warren Farm as a class teacher, currently based in Year 2. I am the Maths subject lead and run our school choir. I have seen many positive changes during my time here, benefiting pupils, parents and staff, and am keen to assist with the many more to come.

Mr Matthew Treharne (Parent)

Hi parents, carers and guardians. My name is Matt Treharne. You have elected me to represent you within the school as a parent governor. I have been a parent at Warren Farm since 1998 and have seen it grow and grow as a parent and as a former teaching assistant. I am proud to be a part of its continuing growth and direction.

Born and raised in Erdington, I’ve always had a deep passion for working with young people. My journey into the education sector began at 19, when I started an apprenticeship after transitioning out of professional football. I firmly believe that young people are the heart of every community, and investing in their growth is essential to creating a better world. By offering them opportunities to explore different perspectives and dream beyond their circumstances, we can help shape a brighter future for all.

Over the past decade, I’ve gained experience in various roles within education, from sports coaching and mentoring in primary schools to designing and delivering a mentoring program for secondary school students. This program has positively impacted over 3,000 young people across Birmingham and the West Midlands.

Today, I am the Managing Director of Foundations4TheFuture, a Mentoring Support and Well-Being organisation. What started with just my business partner and me has now grown to a team of 17 dedicated staff members. In addition to my professional work, I also play part-time football for Rushall Olympic, a local village club competing in the National League North, step 6 of the English Football League Pyramid.

Sarah Hulme (Community)

I currently work as the Battle Back Centre Manager for the Royal British Legion. I manage the delivery of recovery courses for wounded, injured or sick armed forces personnel and veterans. Having previously worked in the education system, I have a passion for Character Education. I helped write, and delivered, the first ever Young Leaders Programme in the UK and my favourite thing in the world is seeing young people finally achieve their potential and self-belief. In my spare time I like to keep active, I enjoy watching my teenage boys play football and walking my two pugs.
